Ask Citlyze

Ask Citlyze is an analyst inside your workspace. Ask a question the way you would ask a colleague: "Which engine gives us the best visibility right now?", "Where are competitors winning answers we are not?", "What changed since last week?". The analyst reads your workspace's own measurements, compares windows, and answers in plain language, with charts when a picture tells the story better.

You can open it two ways: the Ask Citlyze button in the header opens a panel on top of whatever page you are on, and the Ask Citlyze page gives the same conversation a full screen with your recent history beside it.

Grounded in your measurements

Every answer is built from the same data your dashboards show: visibility and share-of-answer scores, competitor comparisons, cited sources, crawler activity, and (when FactCheck is enabled) accuracy results. The analyst does not browse the web and does not answer from general knowledge. If your workspace has not measured something, it says so instead of guessing.

Charts work the same way. When the analyst shows a bar or line chart, the numbers are taken directly from the measurement results it just read, never typed out by the model itself.

Skills

The starter cards on the page are shortcuts for the questions most teams ask every week:

• Weekly briefing: what moved across engines, prompts, competitors, and citations.
• Competitor gap: where competitors are winning answers you are not.
• Citation research: which sources engines cite, and which changed.
• What changed: the movements between the last two windows, and the likely cause.
• Accuracy review: what engines get wrong about the brand, by engine (needs FactCheck).

You can always type your own question instead; the skills are starting points, not limits.

Draft actions

The analyst can draft two kinds of changes for you: a new tracked prompt, and a new alert rule. A draft is never applied on its own. It appears as a card showing the exact settings that would be saved, and nothing happens until you review the card and confirm it yourself. Members with view-only access can read answers but cannot confirm drafts.

Good to know

• The analyst is AI and can make mistakes. Figures come from your measurements, but phrasing and interpretation are the model's own, so verify anything important before acting on it.
• Questions are unlimited on every paid plan, subject to fair use; the free trial includes 50 questions. Only your questions count, not the analyst's replies. See plans and limits.
• Conversations are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
• The analyst reads only the workspace you are in. Switching workspaces switches its data too.
