Can an answer engine actually use this page?
Paste a URL and get a 0 to 100 score across the structural things answer engines depend on: whether their crawlers are allowed in, whether your headings match the questions buyers ask, and whether any single passage could be lifted into an answer and still make sense.
One URL in, a fix list out
Paste a page URL
Use a page you care about being cited for: a comparison page, a pricing page, or a guide that answers a real buyer question.
We fetch three things
The page itself, your robots.txt, and your llms.txt if you have one. Nothing is stored, and no AI model is involved: every check is a deterministic read of what you published.
Fix what scores worst
Each check explains what it found and what to change. Crawler access is weighted heaviest because it decides whether anything else matters.
What this grades, and what it cannot
This is a structural check on one page. It tells you whether answer engines can reach your content, extract a clean answer from it, and understand what your organization is. It cannot tell you whether ChatGPT actually recommends you, because that depends on sources you do not control and needs repeated sampling across engines to measure honestly.
Why crawler access carries the most weight
Every other check assumes engines can fetch the page. In practice the most common cause of zero AI visibility is not thin content, it is a blanket bot rule at the CDN or in robots.txt that nobody remembers writing. If the retrieval agents are blocked, structure work cannot help you.
Why FAQ markup is not scored
Google restricted FAQ rich results to government and health sites in 2023 and retired the feature outright in May 2026. FAQPage markup is still valid and harmless, and it no longer earns anything in Google Search, so crediting it here would be scoring a lever that stopped working. The FAQ format still helps extraction; the markup does not.
How this compares to HubSpot's Website Grader
HubSpot's grader scores a whole site's general health: performance, mobile, SEO basics, security. Useful, and answering a different question. This tool grades one page on one job: whether an answer engine can fetch it, lift a clean answer out of it, and identify who is behind it. Run both if you like; this is the one that tells you why an AI answer does or does not quote the page.
A good score is eligibility, not visibility
This grader tells you whether a page can be used. Citlyze tells you whether engines actually name and cite you, measured across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI surfaces with the run count behind every rate.

Treat anything above 80 as structurally sound and anything below 55 as having at least one problem worth fixing this week. The score is a checklist total rather than a benchmark: it says how well this page is built for extraction, not how you compare to competitors.
Does AI recommend you when buyers ask?
