Prompts
Choose the buyer questions Citlyze should track across AI engines.
Prompts are the buyer questions Citlyze measures over time. A prompt is not measured until Citlyze captures answers for it during a tracking run.
Suggested prompts
Citlyze can generate suggested prompts from your brand, category, products, services, and ICP context. Use these as a starting point, then edit the set to match real buyer language.
Manual prompts
Add manual prompts when your team already knows the questions buyers ask. Manual prompts are useful for sales objections, comparison searches, local questions, or category-specific buying criteria.
Buyer journey stages
Citlyze supports these stages:
- Awareness
- Consideration
- Evaluation
- Decision
Use stages to make reports easier to scan. For example, visibility gaps in decision-stage prompts may be more urgent than awareness-stage gaps.
Topics and groups
Topics help organize similar prompts. Keep topic names simple, such as pricing, alternatives, agencies, local search, reporting, or integrations.
First prompt set
Start with a focused set that covers:
- category discovery questions
- best vendor or best software questions
- competitor comparison questions
- implementation or integration questions
- pricing and value questions
A smaller prompt set is easier to explain and improve than a broad list with unclear intent.
