Getting Started

Workspace Setup

Configure the target brand, domains, aliases, and audience context.

Workspace setup defines what Citlyze should count as your brand and what market context should shape prompt generation.

Open workspace setup from the app at app.citlyze.com/setup. After setup, use workspace settings for post-onboarding changes.

Brand identity

Enter the brand name customers recognize. Add aliases for names AI engines may use in answers, including abbreviations, old product names, parent company names, or common spelling variants.

Owned domains

Add the official domains that represent your brand. Owned domains are used to classify citations and source consultation.

Category terms

Category terms describe the market where the brand competes. They help keep generated prompts and recommendations focused on the right buyer context.

Products and services

List the products or services buyers evaluate. This context helps suggested prompts cover the questions prospects ask before choosing a vendor.

Ideal customer profiles

Add the buyer segments or company types you care about. Examples include in-house SEO teams, agencies, growth teams, enterprise buyers, or local business operators.

Buyer profiles

Buyer profiles describe the people reading AI answers. Use roles, pains, evaluation criteria, and common objections where useful.

Setup quality checklist

  • Brand aliases cover the names your market actually uses.
  • Owned domains include the main site and relevant subdomains.
  • Category terms are specific enough to avoid generic prompts.
  • Products and ICPs match the reports you want to discuss with your team.
