Teams And Workspaces
Understand organizations, workspaces, and account boundaries.
Citlyze uses organizations and workspaces to separate access and data.
Organizations
An organization is the account boundary for team access.
Workspaces
A workspace contains the brand configuration, tracked prompts, results, citations, recommendations, usage, and settings for one brand context.
Agency plans can include client workspaces. On agency plans, prompt, competitor, GEO audit, prompt-suggestion, and content-draft limits are pooled across client workspaces unless the plan table says the limit is per workspace.
Active workspace
Your active workspace is shown in the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. If you belong to more than one workspace, confirm the right one is selected before adding prompts or exporting data. Click the switcher to see every workspace you can access and select a different one.
On agency plans, admins can create a new client workspace from the switcher (Add client brand) or from the New Workspace button in workspace settings. Give it a name, and Citlyze takes you through onboarding for the new brand.
Workspace settings
Workspace settings shows the current plan, active usage, and the workspaces available to the organization. The usage overview tracks active prompts, active locations, competitors, monthly GEO audits, monthly prompt suggestions, monthly content drafts, team seats, and client workspaces.
The workspace summary table shows setup state and counts for prompts, audits, recommendations, drafts, and assigned members. From this table, authorized users can open a workspace, edit setup, export workspace data, or delete a workspace when their role allows it. The final workspace in an organization cannot be deleted from this page.
Team management
Organization admins manage seats from Team management. They can invite members, choose between Admin and Member access, update roles, remove members, and assign non-admin users to specific workspaces. Admin roles have organization-level access; members can be scoped to selected workspaces.
Pending invitations count toward the plan's seat limit. Agency plans can have separate team-member and client-member allowances.
API keys
Plans with API exports can create read-only API keys in workspace settings. Keys work with the REST API and MCP server for the selected workspace. They do not grant access to billing, account settings, or write operations.
Scheduled reports
Plans with scheduled reports can email visibility reports on a weekly or monthly cadence. A schedule includes a recipient list, active or paused state, next run time, and last sent time. Each email links to a printable report that can be saved as a PDF. For setup steps, see Scheduled Reports.
Alerts
Alert rules can email organization admins or a custom recipient list when a completed measurement window crosses a threshold. Each rule sets a threshold for the change that should trigger it, and can require a minimum number of completed runs first so one-off swings don't fire alerts. For rule types and setup steps, see Alerts.
Workspace settings also includes a history of alerts that have been sent from recent completed measurement windows.
What each role can do
Admins manage workspace settings, invitations, and API keys. Members can view and work with the workspace's data but cannot change workspace-level settings.
