Microsoft Teams Notifications
Configure a Microsoft Teams Workflows webhook for Citlyze notifications.
Use a Power Automate Workflows webhook to post Citlyze alerts and scheduled reports into a Teams channel.
Microsoft retired Office 365 connectors in Teams, so the old Incoming Webhook connector is no longer available and connector URLs no longer deliver. Workflows is the replacement. If you set up Teams notifications before 2026, create a new Workflows webhook and replace the saved URL.
Set up with the Citlyze Teams package
- Download teams-app-package.zip.
- In Teams, open Apps.
- Open Manage your apps.
- Select Upload a custom app.
- Upload the Citlyze package.
- Add a Workflows webhook to the channel that should receive Citlyze notifications, using the Post to a channel when a webhook request is received template.
- Copy the generated webhook URL.
- In Citlyze, open Workspace Settings.
- In Notification webhooks, paste the URL in the Microsoft Teams row.
- Select Save.
Citlyze accepts Workflows webhook URLs on *.api.powerplatform.com,
*.api.powerautomate.com, and flow.microsoft.com. Retired connector hosts
such as *.webhook.office.com, outlook.office.com, and *.logic.azure.com
are rejected, because Microsoft no longer delivers messages sent to them.
Test the setup
Trigger an alert or wait for the next scheduled report. The Teams channel should receive a Citlyze adaptive card with key metrics and a link back to the relevant dashboard or report.
